2 Learn to Read Terms and Conditions
This agreement is a legal and binding agreement between you one one hand, and 2 Learn to Read (2LTR) and Davis Dyslexia Association International (DDAI) on the other hand, regarding your use of the digital content of the 2 Learn to Read online course. By signing up to the 2 learn to Read course, you are consenting to become a party to this agreement and agree to be bound by all of the terms and conditions.
USER ACCOUNT
This research pilot gives each user free access to the 2 learn to Read online course until the end of October 2020. By signing up, you agree to not pass on your account details to, or share any 2LTR/DDAI digital files received as part of course materials, with a third party beyond your immediate family. You also agree not to participate in an activity where any of the 2LTR/DDAI digital files are the primary element in securing financial gain.
SKILLS ACQUIRED
The 2 learn to Read online course is based on the Davis® Young Learner Kit for Home Use, copyrighted by DDAI. It is intended solely for providing a parent or a tutor with an effective way to teach a child to read in a personal one-to-one setting. This course does not constitute professional training and does not entitle you to train others in using these methods for financial gain. This course is not a remedial intervention for children with dyslexia or other learning difficulty. For that situation we recommend a Davis Dyslexia Correction Programme provided by licensed Davis Facilitators. The Davis name is a registered trademark, and can only be used in an educational context under license from DDAI.
DIGITAL FILES
All digital files (images, audio and video) are protected by traditional copyright. Any purchase of the 2 learn to Read online course (or access via a voucher), shall entitle only one immediate family to personal use of such 2LTR/DDAI digital files. Copying 2LTR/DDAI digital files to any digital device or digital storage media is prohibited. Your use of 2LTR/DDAI digital files shall not entitle you to transfer them to any third party or to place such digital file on a peer-to-peer network, or to transfer such digital file to any media that is not solely owned and controlled by you. You acknowledge and agree that to violate the terms as set out above shall constitute a copyright infringement under applicable laws, and legislation set by all signatories to the international Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works. All 2LTR/DDAI digital files are available solely for personal use. Further distribution, resale or broadcasting is prohibited.
